Title: Assistant Track and Field Coach State Role Title: Administrative - Lecturer Hiring Range: Based on qualifications & experience Pay Band: UG: Agency: Virginia Military Institute: Location: Virginia Military Institute: Agency Website: www.vmi.edu: Recruitment Type: General Public - G Job Duties: The Virginia Military Institute (VMI), a small NCAA Division I institution located in the scenic Shenandoah Valley of Southwest Virginia, is seeking a qualified coach to fill the position of Men’s and Women’s Track & Field Assistant Coach, with primary responsibilities in short sprints, jumps, and multi-events in the Southern Conference. The successful candidate will: Assist in organizing and directing all phases of the Track and Field Program. Recruit and evaluate potential student-athletes. Coordinate team travel arrangements. Design and implement training programs focused on athlete development, injury prevention, and performance enhancement Collaborate with coaching staff, athletic department, and VMI administration to support student-athlete academic progress and personal development Perform administrative duties and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach.
