MPF Federal is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery to provide intrapartum coverage services at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth. This position is designated as mission essential and requires onsite clinical support during scheduled shifts, including federally recognized holidays. Compensation is pursuant to the Service Contract Act (SCA). The RN Labor & Delivery will provide comprehensive inpatient intrapartum nursing care in accordance with established nursing standards, hospital policies, AWHONN guidelines, and evidence-based obstetric practices. Work Schedule & Hours: Scheduling: Varied shifts Sunday through Saturday Typical Shift Times Include: Maximum Hours: Not to exceed eighty (80) hours per two-week period, inclusive of weekend and holiday services Schedules for required shifts will be provided to the Contractor twelve (12) weeks in advance. Final schedules must be submitted to the Matrix Program Manager (PM) eight (8) weeks prior to services being required. Schedule changes must be submitted seventy-two (72) hours in advance.
