Description The Department of Biostatistics, Bioinformatics and Biomathematics (DBBB) , the Department of Family Medicine , both academic departments within Georgetown University Medical Center , and the Georgetown University Center for Health Equity are seeking an assistant professor on the research-track. The ideal candidate for this position is expected to have a strong record and interest in collaborative research in health equity and health services research. The candidate must possess a PhD in Biostatistics or Statistics or related areas, with strong interest in health equity studies and health services research as well as expertise in population science research including applied methodology in health program design, and evaluation, community-based participatory studies, e.g., cluster studies and causal inference. The DBBB is active in statistical and bioinformatics research and team science research. Faculty collaborate extensively with researchers in primary care, cancer, neuroscience, minority health and population science research to provide expertise and support in biostatics and biomathematics for diverse faculty.
