Weston & Sampson is seeking a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager with at least 7 years of experience in our Suffern, New York office location. This individual will lead our Municipal Engineering work. What you’ll do on a day-to-day basis: Presently the Suffern office services three Rockland County Villages. Following are customary specific tasks to be performed for the Villages: - Support Mayor and Trustees/ Clerk/Administrator - General assistance - Regular Village Hall visits- varies - Provide expert witness testimony for lawsuits. - Support Building Department/Planning/Zoning - Review, assist with zoning, master plan updates. - Code interpretation - Floodplain admin/ floodplain interpretation. - Support DPW Capital Improvement Projects: - Evaluate project, prep concept, develop scope, develop project narrative. - Solicit quotes from any necessary subcontractors, prepare budget. - Develop concept plans and assist in obtaining grants. - Prepare plans, specs, obtain any necessary permits, prepare construction documents, assist in bidding process – start to finish. - Site Inspections, review C of O requests, payment requests, close out. - Prepare as built plans. - Coordinate...
