Job description

Overview The Design Manager will be responsible for setting design and architectural standards, reviewing architectural drawings for meeting those standards, guidance on design implications during pre-development and development phases, guidance on value management and project specifications, and adherence to design standards and programs. The Design Manager will also assist the President and Senior Development Executive and other team members with miscellaneous design, development, CAD and graphics activities while supporting the organization’s mission, vision and values. Qualifications: Training/Education: - Architectural Degree - Valid Driver’s License Experience: - Minimum of five years of experience in the area of architectural design with demonstrated experience in the commercial development industry. - Computer literacy sufficient to operate computer graphic applications (Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photo Shop, Flash, Dreamweaver, AutoCad, Revit, etc.), spreadsheet and word processing applications (Microsoft Office) and other business related software.
