Job Description: The HR Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the College of Education Human Resources Department by handling a variety of administrative and operational tasks. This role is essential in ensuring smooth HR operations and supporting the HR team in managing employee-related processes, records, and communications. Key Responsibilities: Administrative Support: - Assist with the day-to-day operations of the HR department, including scheduling meetings, preparing documents, and maintaining HR records. - Maintain employee records on the server and ensure data accuracy. - Monitor and respond to general inquiries received by phone, email and in-person communications. - Assist with monitoring payroll and onboarding of new employees. - Process OPS hires and job edits for OPS personnel Employee Relations: - Assist in organizing and facilitating employee engagement activities and events.
