Job DetailsJob Location: Main Campus - Marietta, GA 30060Position Type: Full Time StaffPURPOSE Under general supervision, monitors and patrols District facilities, property, and surrounding areas for the purposes of performing law enforcement, emergency response, and crime prevention functions to provide a safe environment for students, staff, and the public. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Develops and implements a student-centered approach to community policing, focusing on student development and assistance. Patrols to detect and deter crime and to help when need Maintain effective liaison with local outside law enforcement agencies. (i.e., Marietta Police Department, Cobb County Sheriff's Office, GEMA, etc.) Ability to lead law enforcement efforts in response to critical incidents. Ability to manage third-party private security contracts. Prepares required reports. Checks the security of buildings. Investigates suspicious activities or persons.
