Overview Element Materials Technology has an opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. This role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional with a strong corporate accounting background who thrives in a fast-paced, global environment and takes ownership of financial accuracy, reporting, and close processes. This position plays a key role in ensuring the integrity of financial results through full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and balance sheet ownership , while partnering cross-functionally across the business. This is a hybrid position, must be able to go into the office 3 days a week. Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this opportunity. Responsibilities: - Own and execute key components of the month-end and year-end close processes , ensuring accuracy and timeliness - Prepare and post complex journal entries , including accruals, prepaids, payroll, fixed assets, and lease accounting - Perform and review detailed balance sheet reconciliations , investigating and resolving variances - Analyze financial results and provide clear explanations of fluctuations and trends to leadership - Partner with cross-functional teams (FP&A, oper...
