Description Job Summary : NEFCO, a leading distributor of construction materials, is seeking a knowledgeable and tech-savvy Account Specialist to support and grow our VMI program. This role focuses on managing customer inventory levels, building strong client relationships, and leveraging technology to ensure accurate, efficient inventory control. The ideal candidate has a background in construction materials or industrial distribution and experience deploying VMI technology tools such as industrial vending, barcode systems, mobile inventory apps, and data -driven forecasting platforms. Job Duties: Inventory Management & Technology Deployment - Establish processes to manage and monitor customer inventory through site visits, scanning tools, and VMI hardware & software. - Implement and support the use of technology such as barcode scanning, RFID, IoT-enabled devices, and cloud-based inventory management platforms. - Train customers and internal teams on the use of mobile apps and systems for inventory tracking and replenishment. - Use forecasting tools and data analytics to predict usage trends and optimize stock levels.
