Job DetailsJob Location: Rialto Preschool - Rialto, CA 92376Salary Range: $23.00 - $29.00 HourlyPROGRAM SUMMARY: Volunteers of America is a federal and stated funded comprehensive early childhood education program with a focus on child development that includes a child’s cognitive, physical and social emotional growth and development. The program fosters Family Engagement in all areas of a child’s development and provides comprehensive resources to low-income families in the areas of health, nutrition and community resources. SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Under the direction of the Child Development Coordinator, a State Preschool Teacher is a staff person who facilitates safe and healthy learning activities for children, 2-5 years of age. Play based learning promotes social-emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. A State Preschool Teacher plans individual and group activities according to a child’s age and current developmental levels under the guidelines of Creative Curriculum.
