Description The position of Youth Development Professional (Sports Focus) supports the planning, organizing, promotion, implementation, and evaluation of sports and fitness programs. This role leads activities primarily in athletics, while also supporting art and academic activities. In addition, the Youth Development Professional provides supervision and promotes engagement of club members. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Implements, monitors, and evaluates sports and fitness programs, services, and activities to ensure the safety of members and quality in programs. - Creates an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes. - Recognizes club members for program participation and achievement. - Maintains records to track attendance and participation. - Recommends development of new sports programs and enhancement of existing programming. - Promotes and stimulates program participation. - Orients new members to sports programs, special events, and opportunities, as well as club safety, program, and disciplinary rules. - Provides guidance and role modeling to members, emphasizing sportsmanship and fitness. - Participates in training and educational opportunities...
