Job Description: Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit Transition to Practice 📍 St Vincent’s Private Hospital Northside, Chermside 💰 Competitive rates! $43.59 – 56.021p/h + 3.5% increase in July ⌚ Maximum term contract 24 months (part time 32 hours per week) About the role: Are you an experienced Registered Nurse (at least two years’ experience) looking at transitioning your career in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit? We currently have an exciting opportunity to join our 24-month (0.8 FTE) Transition to Critical Care Program and affiliated with the Australian Catholic University (ACU). Successful completion awards the participant two subjects towards a Graduate Certificate in Clinical Nursing (Intensive Care) at ACU. Permanent positions will be available within our Intensive Care Team. This program involves a combination of self-directed study, practical sessions, and lectures in a well-supported practical environment. The focus of this program is to help participants develop a problem-solving approach to decision making in critical care.
