Description The Department of Comparative Medicine at Stanford University is currently seeking a veterinary clinical pathologist to serve as the Director for the Veterinary Service Center (VSC) Animal Diagnostic Laboratory. A DVM/VMD degree and ACVP or ECVP board certification or board eligibility is required. Academic rank (Assistant, Associate, Full Professor) and line (University Medical Line, Clinician Educator) will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. - The major criteria for appointment in the University Medical Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. - The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill.
