Practice Independence Animal Hospital is proud to serve the Independence, KS area for everything pet-related. Our practice is a full-service mixed-animal hospital and will see routine appointments, surgical cases as well as offer acupuncture services. Our in-house capabilities include digital x-ray, digital dental x-ray, ultrasound, cold laser, indoor stocks, outdoor pen area, hydraulic tilt chute, and an OB chute. Our doctors are supported by our experienced credentialed technicians, assistants, and practice manager. More about the Role: The Credentialed Veterinary Technician performs a critical role in providing high quality care for patients. Credentialed Technicians are key partners to the veterinarians, providing the appropriate support to ensure each client interaction and procedure is seamless and successful. Credentialed Technicians apply their professional skills in anesthesia, surgery, dentistry, laboratory testing, patient nursing, and client education. Please note, our practice is a mixed practice of small & large animals.
