Job description

Key Areas of Responsibility: - Operate and maintain a landfill gas-fueled power plant consisting of multiple spark-ignition reciprocating engines and associated auxiliary equipment. - Comply with all workplace, federal, state, and OSHA safety guidelines and obligations. - Perform regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on: - Fixed plant equipment (e.g., engines, generators, pumps, chillers, valves). - Gas Collection and Control System (GCCS) - Document and report equipment maintenance, operations, and conditions accurately. - Conduct fault-finding and necessary repairs on electrical and mechanical systems. - Support on call schedule and respond to call outs in a reasonable timeframe. - Perform routine housekeeping duties. - Actively ensure own health and safety and the health and safety of others through understanding and implementing workplace health and safety obligations. - Support and comply with Company policies and procedures as advised and documented in the Company’s employment policies as amended from time to time and as directed by Managers/Supervisors. - In addition to the duties set out above, the Operator may be expected to perform other duties as assig...
