The Salvation Army, an internationally recognized non-profit, faith based organization, has a job opening for a Family Success Center Child Care Teacher for the Center of Hope, located in Greensboro, North Carolina. Job Summary: The Family Success Center #2 Infant-Toddler Childcare Teacher will be responsible for helping children develop social skills and monitoring a range of daily activities, from playful learning to rest time. Will need to be flexible and creative while maintaining structure and sticking to schedules. The Family Success Center Childcare Teacher works closely with the Program Manager to ensure alignment within The Salvation Army of Greensboro and with the United Way of Greater Greensboro’s requirements related to early childhood development. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must have Computer/PC Skills, Knowledge of social service practices and principles, Sensitivity to cultural issues, Sensitivity to poverty issues, Ability to work independently and Good interpersonal relationship skills.
