NaphCare is hiring a Medical Scheduler to join our team of medical professionals in the Staton Correctional Facility Full Time and Part Time positions may be available! As a Correctional Medical Scheduler , you will work alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals who provide care to the individuals in residence, to schedule off-site appointments. This is a unique position where you can make a difference to this diverse population of patients. Responsibilities: The Medical Scheduler is responsible for managing and coordinating healthcare appointments for the facility. Duties and responsibilities may include and are not limited to: - Scheduling various medical appointments, including on-site clinic visits and off-site specialist appointments, as recommended by medical staff - Maintaining accurate and confidential medical records, including entering consultation requests into the system and managing patient information - Arranging transportation for inmates to and from appointments, ensuring timely and secure transfers - Effectively communicating with healthcare staff, patients, and o...
