Position: Tutor II Department: Academic Affairs: Type of Position: Part-time Temporary: Exemption Status: Non-Exempt: Work Schedule, Hours per week: Varies, up to 12 hours per week Opportunity for hybrid schedule: No: Starting Salary Range: $18.22-$23.31 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume. Position Summary: Tutor students through a variety of modalities and methods in specific subjects; refer students to other relevant resources. Assist with center-specific projects and training as appropriate; assist with other daily activities in the relevant center. Required Qualifications: - A degree in Japanese language, in a Japan-related field, or a like discipline. - Experience in teaching and/or tutoring in high school or in higher education. - Japanese native speaker or near-native proficiency.
