Director, Accounting

Job description

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Director of Accounting to lead our accounting operations and serve as a key financial leader within the organization. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will own the month-end close, manage external audit relationships, and drive process improvement across the finance function. This is a high-impact leadership role with a clear path for continued growth. Responsibilities: Own and oversee all accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and intercompany functions. Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and tax advisors; lead audit preparation, manage inquiries, and ensure all schedules and documentation are delivered accurately and on time. Drive process improvement and systems optimization initiatives across accounting and finance operations, including automation and scalability efforts.
