Civil Engineer Position Overview: Futron is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to provide civil engineering design and production support from project inception through construction. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to mentor junior engineers while ensuring the quality, accuracy, and compliance of all project deliverables. This position is based on site on Naval Air Station Patuxent River, Maryland. Key Responsibilities: - Perform civil engineering design and production support throughout project lifecycle. - Apply expertise in both Design-Bid-Build and Design-Build project delivery methods. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers/designers. - Review work of other civil engineers for code compliance and constructability. - Estimate design effort and assist in negotiations with Architectural-Engineering firms and General Contractors. - Address contractor submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs). Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
