Job description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: - Audit incoming materials, work in progress, and finished parts for adherence to blueprint specifications using precision measuring equipment such as gages, calipers, micrometers, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) - Segregate non-conforming material and pieces, providing reasons for rejection - Perform dimensional layouts on sample components for approval of supplier tooling, document all findings, and assist with interpretation as required - Provide feedback on what is required to bring rejected parts within specifications to production team members - Participate in 5S and Lean activities - Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers, Materials team, and Production team to resolve quality issues Working Condition: Typical shop floor with possible exposure to dirt, dust, fumes, heat, cold, noise, vibration, oil and water. May be exposed to any number of these elements.
