Full-Time Day Shift 7am to 5pm 80 hours b-weekly The invasive cardiology department at Good Samaritan Hospital consists of 3 procedural labs as well as its own 12 bed prep and recovery area. We perform cath, EP, and peripheral vascular cases with a team of 7 skilled invasive cardiologists and electrophysiologists, RNs, and technologists. As a facility with surgical backup, the cath lab can handle cases ranging from diagnostics to complex interventions, with the capability for advanced STEMI and cardiac arrest treatment options such as Impella and ECMO. The EP side performs a variety of procedures such as cardioversions, implants, and ablations for all rhythm issues. The labs are growing into the structural heart side of invasive cardiology and the ability to offer additional procedures is something being worked towards. General Summary: Provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level in accordance with the principles of patient and family-centered care based on the nursing process and according to the clinical standards of the hospital.
