Seasonal Distribution Driver (Full-Time)

Job description

Description The Seasonal Distribution Driver serves as support to the Distribution Driver and Warehouse Coordinator during periods of high-volume donations. The Seasonal Distribution Driver partners with the Distribution Driver (route execution) and Warehouse Coordinator (inventory, logistics, and scheduling), while also providing organizational and logistical support within the Phoenix Rescue Mission warehouse as needed. This role supports increased operational demand during peak seasons, including Code:Red summer operations and expanded donation volume. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Follow direction from the Warehouse Manager, while collaborating with the Distribution Driver and Warehouse Coordinator to complete daily assignments. - Work outdoors in high temperatures, including loading and unloading heavy items such as cases of water during peak summer operations. - Safely lift, carry, and move donated items, including frequent lifting of 25–50 lbs and occasional lifting of heavier items with assistance. - Ride with the Distribution Driver to complete donation pick-ups, including loading and unloading items into a box truck. - Independently operate a second truck with assigned helper(s)...
