The position: The Superintendent -- Night Shift coordinates and directs the activities of a wide variety of production department(s) or even production shifts in processing materials and manufacturing products. Purpose is to ensure the delivery of products safely, on time, within budget, and at the expected quality level per engineering drawings. Responsibilities: WHAT YOU’LL DO: - Defines direct labor staffing plans based on production volume, prepares line for successful start of next shift, manages rework/defects/scrap and implements root cause corrective actions. - Ensures accurate and timely completion of NPO records and NCM processes. - Manage and coach Supervisors, in the application of lean concepts to ensure Safety, Quality, On-time delivery and cost targets are achieved.
