HGV/Van Driver

Job description

We’re looking for reliable HGV and van drivers to deliver, set up and support mobile medical units across the UK. This is a hands-on role combining driving, basic unit setup, and on-site support. You’ll be trusted to represent the company and make sure each unit is ready for clinical teams to work safely. What You’ll Be Doing: - Driving vans, rigid vehicles, and Class 1 HGVs to sites across the UK - Positioning and setting up mobile medical units on arrival - Supporting on-site operations and packing down at the end of deployment - Delivering consumables and moving units between locations - Carrying out basic vehicle checks and minor maintenance - Keeping vehicles clean, tidy, and road-ready - Completing driver paperwork and staying compliant with Drivers’ Hours & WTD - Some work will be yard-based preparing units between deployments. Working Pattern: Regular nights away from home (overnight allowance paid) - 5 days out of 7 - Occasional evenings and weekends Requirements: - Full UK driving licence (HGV / Class 1 Preferable but not essential) - Safe, professional driver with a good attitude - Comfortable working away from home - Customer-focused and able to work on your own or as p...
