Loan Servicing Specialist - Consumer Lending

Job description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Setup and maintain ACH payments. - Process installment loan payoffs. - Process returned checks on loan payments. - Process monetary adjustments to loan records. - Maintain general ledger reconciliations for various cost centers. - Verify signatures on advance checks for home equity and cash value credit lines. - Disburse monthly statements and earnings to car dealerships for the purchase of indirect auto loans. - Monitor and research daily reports for BSA compliance. - Review various Miser reports for accuracy. - Prepare monthly reports for senior management. - Assist with special projects when required. Qualifications: Required Skills: - Good communication skills both verbal and written. - Good phone skills needed for customer contact. - Basic PC skills including general understanding of databases and Microsoft Word/Excel. - Excellent mathematical skills. Ability to work with complex figures. - Strong attention to detail. - Ability to review loan documentation for completeness and accuracy. - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
