Distribution Material Handler Service Wire is a premier manufacturer of industrial, utility, and commercial wire and cable. Our regional manufacturing location in Houston is seeking a conscientious and team-oriented Material Handler with proficiency with high-reach forklifts to join our organization in this full-time position. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: · Process material cuts according to customer specifications and record distribution data · Palletize and prepare orders for shipment using a stand-up, high-reach forklift · Work to maintain inventory stock and an organized warehouse · Transports wire and materials throughout facility on a forklift · Maintain safety standards and organized work environment QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: · High-reach forklift proficiency · Basic math and measuring skills · Ability to read, comprehend, and respond to general instructions and directions · Ability to stand and move about facility for extended periods · Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
