Position Summary Odyssey has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Engineer supporting an Air Force acquisition mission within the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), Armament Directorate Munitions Division (AFLCMC/EBH) at Hill Air Force Base, UT. In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide mechanical engineering support across the acquisition lifecycle to ensure weapon systems, subsystems, and support equipment meet program objectives for cost, schedule, performance, and compliance. This is a full-time onsite position at Hill AFB, UT . Responsibilities: Duties include, but not limited to: - Provide mechanical/aerospace/materials engineering support across the acquisition, development, and sustainment lifecycle. - Apply advanced engineering principles to ensure technical efforts align with program objectives, cost, schedule, and performance requirements. - Assist with engineering analysis, troubleshooting, and technical recommendations supporting system and equipment performance. - Support planning and execution of complex engineering tasks involving: - Statics, Dynamics, Tribology - Mechanical wear, Fatigue, Corrosion - Fluid dynam...
