The Salvation Army Belleville Corps is looking for a Custodian. This individual is responsible for the general maintenance and custodial duties of the Corps building and grounds. This is a part-time, 25 hours per week, $15.00 per hour. 20 Glory Pl, Belleville, IL Essential Functions: The full job description is available upon interview - Perform housekeeping duties including dusting, window washing, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash, vacuuming/shampooing/spot cleaning carpets, sweeping/mopping/buffing/stripping/waxing tile floors, etc. - Assist with preventive maintenance of furnaces (changing filters) and perform other minor maintenance. - Change burned out light bulbs in overhead light fixtures, exterior light fixtures, and exit lights. - Maintain Corps grounds to include yard work, trash removal, snow removal, lawn mowing and any additional outside repairs as necessary. - Assist with any small or minor repairs and note any major repair that needs to take place in the buildings. - Maintain proper housekeeping in janitorial room.
