Position Title: Teacher - Career and Technical Instruction Division: School-Level: Reports To: Principal or Designee: FLSA Status: Exempt: Salary Schedule: Teacher: Work Days: 190: Qualifications: - Provide instruction that assists students, teachers, and staff with a systematic approach to curriculum, assessment, instruction, research-based and best practices for sustained student achievement in career and technical pathways. - Work collaboratively with graduation coaches in order to increase graduation rate and decrease dropout rate for students with disabilities. - Plan, develop, secure, and implement meaningful and valuable professional development and follow-up opportunities necessary to build capacity in special education staff to implement the curriculum and to improve instruction. - Use assessment results to assist with the development of instructional strategies. - Participate in IEP and related meetings to promote collaboration and communication with a focus on providing career and technical occupational input based on knowledge of technical pathways and individual student data. - Identify students with disabilities who require supports and accommodations through the CTI...
