Position Title Lis Systems Administrator Southlake Campus: Position Summary / Career Interest: Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions - "Demonstrates the ability to function in one or more areas of the clinical including: Blood bank, Chemistry, Flow Cytometry, Hematology, Immunology, Microbiology, Molecular biology, Virology, Computer. - Acts as a LIS help desk resource. - Takes corrective actions in as many aspects as possible. - Monitor integrated systems for abnormal conditions and performs appropriate corrective measures. - Operates master console by responding accurately to console messages, documents all problems, and keeps management informed of problems that have a serious consequence to the system. - Oversees or mounts correct tape volumes and ensures correct tapes volumes are sent offsite. - Reviews backups and operates tape drives, printers and other equipment. - Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot file server hardware and operating system problems. - Demonstrates the ability to install file server hardware and operating systems. - Demonstrates the ability to install and troubleshoot standard and customized software applications. - Assists in testing as softwa...
