The role Join the Jo Mercer team, one of Australia's most iconic footwear brands as a Finance Manager. We are looking for a commercially astute and hands-on team member to join the Finance team managing a team of 3. This is a full-time office-based role working from our Cremorne office. About the Role: Reporting to The Shoe Group CFO, with a secondary direct line to the CEO, the Finance Manager will play a critical role in leading the finance function and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in our Finance team, being responsible for financial control, reporting, budgeting, compliance and driving commercial insights. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage the end-to-end finance function, including financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and inventory accounting. - Prepare monthly management accounts, board reports, and financial analysis. - Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. - Ensure compliance with statutory and tax obligations (BAS, payroll tax, income tax, etc.). - Manage external relationships including auditors, banks, and advisors. - Provide commercial insights t...
