About the role Mater Private Hospital Townsville is seeking applications for a casual Orderly to join our team and support our wards. This casual role operates on a rotating 24/7 roster, including morning, afternoon and night shifts. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Hospital Orderly to support the safe, efficient, and respectful movement of patients, equipment, and supplies throughout the hospital. In this important frontline role, you will assist nursing and clinical teams, maintain a clean and safe environment, and contribute to high‑quality patient care every day. As a key member of our support services team, you will follow best‑practice safety, infection control, and patient handling procedures while helping keep our hospital functioning smoothly and effectively. Salary range: $32.02 - $34.52 per hour plus casual loading and weekend penalties plus superannuation and access to not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 + access to many staff benefits!
