Classification Temporary Minimum Pay: $23.55 Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience. JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: The Robotics Instructor teaches non-credit courses; delivering robotics instruction and hands-on experience with various robots. This position will plan and teach robotic lessons, facilitating student learning and oversee hands-on learning, while managing classroom behavior. ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS: - Provides instruction and hands-on experience with robots to students in afterschool program classrooms. - Plans and instructs robotic lessons, incorporating various teaching styles to align with learning styles. - Facilitates student learning, oversees hands-on learning, manages classroom behavior. - Attend work activities or programs as scheduled or assigned. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: - Knowledge of the different aspects of Robotics to include computer programming and robotic construction. - Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software. - Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other college supported systems. - Excellent communication skills including active listening. - Excellent organi...
