General Maintenance Technician I - 2nd shift

Job description

Amentum is seeking a General Maintenance Tech 1 to join our operations & maintenance team in Davenport, IA. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: inspections, lubrication, cleaning, filter changes, and associated technical maintenance tasks. In addition, general maintenance tasks related to painting walls, repairing office furniture, grounds keeping, etc. will be required. Responsibilities: - This is a 2nd shift position; core hours are 2:00pm to 10:30pm - Assists the team with a variety of industrial facility system repairs and preventive maintenance. - Perform visual inspections of roofing material, cleaning roof drains, and reporting damage. - Assists the team with maintaining, operating and troubleshooting systems and equipment such as overhead door systems, pumps, piping, seals and valves. - Performs general maintenance such as trench cleaning and sign hanging. - Assist with general cleaning and filter changes heating and ventilation units. - Assists with basic electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance issues. - Performs preventive maintenance as scheduled in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). - Safely performs functions of the position...
