Position Summary The Salvation Army Northern Division Headquarters (DHQ) in Roseville, MN is doing the most good by supporting our worship and service centers, community outreach, and housing programs that serve local communities. The Staff Accountant - Payroll is responsible for maintaining the accuracy of payroll processing and reporting for over 500 employees. Wage: $20.81-$29.80 per hour, 40 hours per week Location: 2445 Prior Ave, Roseville MN 55113 Essential Functions (approximate time spent): - Record payroll activities through accurate journal entries, reconcile payroll ledger accounts monthly and promptly research and resolve any reconciliation discrepancies (35%). - Prepare various additional information and perform calculations, such as pension billing, fringe benefit values, worker’s compensation wage reports, and audit reports. (35%). - Process payroll with precision and promptness (25%). - Serve as a liaison between the field and employees, collaborating closely with Human Resources on employee-related matters (5%).
