JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION Supports client care by providing clinical services, receptionist and basic transcription duties which include answering phones—screening and routing calls, interacting with families, bringing visitors to the unit during visiting hours, assembling charts, making photocopies, ordering unit supplies, and recording refrigerator temperatures. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in maintenance of clinical charts and records. Answers phones; screens and routes calls appropriately. Maintains client confidentiality when dealing with phone/visitors. Demonstrates ability to page/utilize phone system. Maintains and updates inventory and client statistical information.
