Overview We are seeking a Transporter, sometimes referred to as our Patient Transporter, Hospital Transporter or Operating Room Transporter in our surgery department. The Transporter plays an important role in the flow and safety of surgical operations by moving patients, equipment, and materials between key areas. The Hospital Transporter position supports nurses, surgeons, and techs by ensuring patients and supplies get to the right place at the right time—safely and efficiently. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/PRN as needed.
