Formosa Plastics Corporation, Texas, located in Point Comfort, Texas (jobsite), is looking for a full-time Process Engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemical and Materials Engineering and 1 year related work experience. Job duties include simulating the temperature profile of the hydrocarbon distillation system, simulating the static state of mass and energy balance for the distillation towers, calculating the required flow capacity and determining suitable pump type for the hydraulic transportation system based on required flow, pump head and fluid properties, performing hydraulic check for pump and control valve, determining the heat duty of the heat exchanger, developing processes to improve the heat transfer efficiency, designing and implementing waste gas treatment for the hexene boiler to reduce pollution, designing and implementing steam and condensate system, designing, testing, installing, starting-up, and commis...
