This position requires you to be working in office, 3 days per week, from our Bala Cynwyd, PA office. Position Summary: The Construction Manager is responsible for managing multiple retail capital projects across the Pep Boys portfolio, including brownfield remodels, refresh programs, relocations, and select greenfield ground-up developments. This role oversees projects from bidding through closeout and ensures delivery in accordance with approved scope, budget, schedule, and company standards. Reports to the Senior Construction Manager. Key Responsibilities: Project Execution: - Manage 5–10 concurrent retail construction projects in various phases - Oversee brownfield remodels in operating store environments - Manage select greenfield ground-up or redevelopment projects - Conduct regular site visits to monitor safety, quality, and schedule - Identify and escalate risks impacting cost, scope, or timeline Budget & Cost Control: - Develop and validate detailed scopes of work - Prepare and manage project budgets - Monitor contingency usage and forecast cost-to-complete - Review, negotiate, and document change orders - Maintain accurate cost tracking and reporting Bidding & Contractor...
