Job Description Location: 2300 Powell Avenue Erie, PA 16506 Direct Report: Tooling Supervisors: Purpose: Machine cylindrical components to precise dimensions using manual and/or CNC lathes. Responsibilities (including, but not limited to): Set up and operate lathe equipment Perform turning, boring, threading, and facing operations Interpret blueprints and specifications: Maintain dimensional accuracy: Authorities (including, but not limited to): Adjust machine settings and tooling Stop work for quality issues: Recommend process improvements: Primary Duties (including, but not limited to): Machine round components to required tolerances Hold tight tolerances: Soft or hard turn machining: Perform in-process inspections: Maintain tooling and machine: Document work performed: Qualifications/Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of lathe experience or equivalent training Preferred Skills/Experience: CNC lathe experience Threading and tight tolerance work: Experience with mold-related components: Records: Inspection reports Timecards: Our Expectations: We expect our people to be guided by The Amcor Way and demonstrate our Values every day to enable the business t...
