BHE GT&S has an exciting opportunity as a Telecommunications Technician 1, Telecommunications Technician 2 or Telecommunications Technician 3 at our Western Area Headquarters in Greensburg, PA or at our Luthersburg, PA location. - Guides and directs a team of technicians involved in activities related to network monitoring, operations, installation, and/or maintenance for local off-site and/or remote locations. - Instructs, directs, and checks the work of telecommunications technician personnel. - Works with an individual business unit on multi-project assignments. - Monitors project's progress and results. Errors may cause significant delay, expense, and disruption. Telecom Technician 1: 0-2 years' related experience. - Experience in network and telecommunications applications required. - Basic knowledge of all areas of telecommunications. - Ability to work on telecommunications systems and equipment. - Ability to analyze trouble reports and perform maintenance of telecommunications equipment. - Strong aptitude for technical understanding. - Skills to communicate with various departments, internal groups, and external customer groups to perform work. - Has awareness of customer r...
