Overview GovCIO is seeking an experienced Sr. Technical Writer with a strong background in technical documentation, instructional systems development, and quality assurance to support the Navy’s Fixed Submarine Broadcast System Fixed Very Low Frequency / Low Frequency (FSBS FVLF/LF) Engineering Support team. This onsite position, located in Charleston, SC, will play a key role in producing, managing, and validating high‑quality technical data supporting Navy telecommunications, broadcast, and training systems. The ideal candidate will bring senior‑level expertise in developing, editing, and maintaining technical manuals, standard operating procedures, system documentation, and curriculum or training materials in accordance with military standards and industry best practices. This position requires a highly disciplined communicator capable of translating complex engineering, operational, and procedural information into clear, accurate, and well‑structured documentation.
