Job description

Purpose of the Position: The Account Analyst supports the financial operations of the institution by performing account reconciliations, financial analysis, reporting, and compliance monitoring. This position plays a key role in maintaining the integrity of financial data and assisting departments with budget management. The Account Analyst will also actively support the institution’s financial transition to a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, ensuring data accuracy, process alignment, and user adoption. This position is a term-limited appointment with a duration of three (3) years. Key Responsibilities include: Financial Analysis & Reporting: ERP Implementation & Financial Systems Support - Prepare, analyze, and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis. - Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports. - Monitor departmental budgets and provide variance analysis. - Support year-end closing processes and external audits. - Ensure compliance with institutional policies, federal/state regulations, and higher education accounting standards (e.g., GASB or FASB as applicable). - Assist in the financial transition to a new ERP system, in...
