Classification Title: Service/Maintenance: Working Title: Environmental Services Technician Department: Building Services: FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Salary Range: $15.00 Pay Basis: Hourly POSITION OVERVIEW: JOB SUMMARY: Unlock assigned building, clean, service, and disinfect restrooms, lounges, E-Classrooms, public entrances, stairways and other areas as assigned by supervision. Work performed to APPA standards as directed. Tasks are usually performed alone during a shift shift, but can at times be strenuous and may require teamwork. Receives direct supervision from the Senior Environmental Services Supervisor and work/project coordination from the Environmental Services Specialist. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of the ninth grade. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of the ninth grade. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of High School or Equivalent. Custodial service experience at a large business/institution.
