Practice In operation since 1971, Oates Veterinary Clinic welcomes both emergency cases as well as patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Beyond medical care, our goal is to make our clinic as comfortable, pet-friendly, family-friendly, and calm as possible. We also offer a full-service boarding and grooming facility. More about the Role: The Veterinary Assistant assists the veterinarians and technicians with patient care and treatment, monitors hospitalized pets, maintains inventory, prepares prescriptions, performs routine in-house laboratory work, educates clients regarding veterinary care and procedures, and assists with surgical procedures. Anticipated Schedule: - Monday thru Thursday 9am - 6pm - Friday 9am - 1pm - Available for weekend shifts. - Full time and part time hours available. Part time must work Tues, Wed, Thurs, and weekends.
