OVERVIEW: Marc Jacobs International, powered by the creative genius of Marc Jacobs, seeks a Atelier Coordinator to join the Atelier based in its New York City (SoHo) headquarters. RESPONSIBILITIES : QUALIFICATIONS: - Prepare trim packages - Scan & cut patterns - Update patterns on a hard drive - Prepare cut ticket packages for sewers and factories - Shorten zippers for trim packages - Set up of thread and sewing trials - Setting up charts for production - Ordering and set up of meals - Knowledge of sewing construction and patterns making preferred - Ability to multitask, understand urgency - Available 7 days a week with long hours - Start date June 9th, end date July 11th SALARY & BENEFITS/WHAT WE OFFER: The compensation for this position ranges from $20 (hourly). The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
