Equipment Specialist, Adult Acute Care - ( 260003OC ) Description A Brief Overview This role will be responsible for organizing, tracking and managing multi-million dollar equipment inventory for Adult Acute Care Nursing Services at UH Cleveland Medical Center. This position will work with management, physicians, service leaders, nursing staff, vendors and other key stakeholders to ensure equipment is in good working order, available, accessible and well-maintained. What You Will Do: - Maintains a list of current inventory of available equipment necessary to run the unit/specialty. - Coordinate with Unit Secretaries to order equipment and supplies approved by department leadership. - All equipment will be cleaned per Infection Prevention Standards and per MDS standards of UH. Additional focus will be controlling the equipment location within the unit. - Responsible for keeping equipment areas neat and orderly in order to permit the accurate tracking of equipment and the identification and maintenance of equipment.
