Tenet Healthcare is seeking a board certified, physician to join our leadership team. This is an ON-SITE, full-time position. While experience as a PA is preferred, candidates with a strong desire to succeed will be considered. In this pivotal role, you’ll influence utilization management, documentation integrity, and physician education to improve patient care and hospital performance. What You’ll Do: - Review cases for appropriate Level of Care and monitor observation stays - Educate physicians and committees on utilization and documentation best practices - Lead daily huddles, complex case conferences, and peer education - Chair the Utilization Management Committee quarterly - Manage payer denials, including peer-to-peer reviews - Partner with CDI/HIM teams to improve documentation quality - Partner with administration in reducing financial risks associated with denials as a result of unnecessary or preventable services and extended lengths of stay What We’re Looking For: - Experience as a physician leader in a large system/hospi...
