Resident Engineer - Dell ECS Specialist - Poland

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to act as the dedicated technical expert for a key enterprise client in Poland. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert for Dell ECS (Elastic Cloud Storage) , responsible for the day-to-day operational health, performance optimization, and architectural integrity of the object storage platform. You will bridge the gap between the customer’s IT operations and the core engineering team, ensuring maximum availability, data durability, and seamless integration with applications such as backup systems, big data analytics, and private cloud environments. Key Responsibilities: Platform Operations & Maintenance: - Serve as the primary technical authority for the Dell ECS infrastructure. - Perform proactive health checks, capacity planning, and performance tuning of the ECS cluster. - Manage the lifecycle of the platform, including software upgrades, firmware updates, and hardware replacement coordination. - Monitor system alerts, logs, and metrics to prevent downtime and resolve incidents within agreed SLAs.
